The good service started before we even arrived at Yougendo. Thank you again for your help on research and booking of accommodation. Overall we truely enjoyed the experience. Great people / service / facilities. Beautiful house, very clean and tidy. The location is great as well. We will definitely recommend Yougendo to our friends. Very clear and detailed information on transport (good maps, too), which we found very useful.

The room was wonderful, slept excellent on the futon! I loved it! Breakfast was very very very good. I felt like a million dollar... I will definitely recommend this place!

Good location, just 1 minute walk from JR train station and near Osaka + Nara. Beautiful old Japanese house in excellent conditions with everything you need and more!

I felt warmly welcomed and was absolutely delighted by you and your wonderful house with all the lovely details. I did like the kitchen as a room where everyone can meet and chat a lot (same for the lounge area). I wish I could have spent more time here.

Unfortunately we spent just one night at your guesthouse. I liked the very pleasant atmosphere and all the riims with its nice little details. The price for the accommodation is more than appropriate for the kind service that has been offered. I really recommend everybody to spend some time in your house. We were very impressed!

Really a Japanese atmosphere, but with some western useful extras! A great union of Japanese and English style. Probably the best accommodation we found after almost 3 weeks in Japan!

We have spent a great time in your guesthouse. It is very traditional Japanese but with modern facilities. Nothing is missing in that guesthouse. Service is great, environment is very nice. We will recommend this guesthouse to our friends.

The rooms were beyond perfection. We could not believe that you had a Nintendo Wii and a flat screen TV — that was awesome!! Mahalo (Thank you) for all your hospitality. We think you've done an impeccable job at restorning this house. Our time here was like spending at great weekend with a favorite aunt. We didn't feel anything like a typical hotel or inn, it was just like home, only better.

I found the lounge very comfortable. If I didn't have a room here, I would have slept on the couch. The nicest people I've met since being in Japan EVER! :D I would be hard-pressed to find a place like this in any other area (perfect hosts, rooms, everything!). The food was superb + the surroundings beautiful I am very happy to have stayed here. Thank you for being so terrific!

Facilities were more than adequate — think we were very spoilt. Everything is so beautifully presented — a great place to relax after a days towning. Thank you for a wonderful end to our time in Japan.

Futons were the most confortable we've slept on in Japan. The room was beautiful and we'd have loved to lounge in thru all day. You were great — very kind and willing to chat even though you may have been busy. This was a wonderful place to stay — I'm sorry that we could only spend one night here.
