GUESTHOUSE Yougendo

Thank you for a very nice stay in Yougendo. I loved your guesthouse, the staff was very friendly and made me instantly feel like home and the house itself is beautiful as well as the garden. Also the bar is very cosy. The location next to railway station is very convinient with an easy acces to both Nara and Osaka. And the supermarket accross the street has all you need. When I visit Japan/Kansai again I will definitely come here again and will recommend this excellent place to all my friends planning a trip to Japan. Thank you all!

My desire in choosing Yougendo is that we might be immennsed in the flavor and style of traditional Japan. You have fully met that desire. The small touches (simplised train directions, quiet Japanese music, flowers, attention to detail) are evident throughout. It has been like staying in the home of a gracious friend. Domo Arigato!

We loved the setting, enjoyed the ryokan experience, meeting and conversing with people from many other cultures. The breakfasts were very tasty and a treat over the standard breakfast menus we standardly enjoy. The experience was delightful and one to be remembered.

Yougendo is a wonderful guesthouse. Warm hospitality, historied building, nice staff. Especially a dining bar is recommendation! We will certainly go back to yougendo again. Thank you so much.

Thank you for assisting us at the beginning of our Japan trip in January. I have thoroughly enjoyed my stay. As there are only a few rooms, it almost feels as though I'm staying at a private home. If I know anyone back in Australia, who is traveling to Kansai, I will constantly recommend.
