GUESTHOUSE Yougendo

Chris and girls: you are truly masters of the art of Japanese hospitality! We have had an incredibly wonderful time at Yougendo! We found Oji to be the perfect spot in Kansai to do daytrips to Osaka, Kyoto, temple complexes like Yoshino and Mt. Shigi, to Nara and even Shirahama. We hope to be back one day. Thank you so much for everything!

Your hospitality and all the thoughtful fine little detail have made our stay most awesome and memorable. What I love most about this place is that it feels like a home -Albeit a beautiful + well kept home (my house is messy, heehee). Thank you for your
understanding with regards to our early starts + late evenings. Keep up the good work guys!

This is a beautiful house and we feel so lucky to stay here because we are mostly staying in hostels. Our room is absolutely beautiful and a wonderful heaven from the heat. Thank you so much for all your help and direction for visiting Nara. Maybe one day we can make it back here!

Thank you and all the staff for the wonderful experience we had at Yougendo. My husband and I stayed in Ikaruga. We loved being surrounded by the garden, and waking up to the sounds of birds (including the ikaruga?). All the staff were terrific. It could not have been more relaxed and comfortable.
